How do we collect information?
Our website contains contact forms to enable visitors to contact us quickly and easily. These forms ask for people to fill in their name and email address, as well as the information that the user chooses to share in a message. The anonymous information of the message (e.g. date and time of submission) are kept without any specific expiration date. The personal information is kept no more than three months to facilitate and improve communication with clients.
We send out a monthly newsletter to which people can subscribe. All that is needed for this is an email address. This email address will not be used for any other purposes apart from sending out the newsletter. You are free at all times to unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can do this by clicking the "Uitschrijven"/"Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter itself, or by contacting us.
We offer a scope statement that allows construction professionals (such as architects) to quickly and easily gain insight into whether a particular mobile wall is an option for their project. This tool allows for the submission of various data points, such as type of mobile wall, color preferences, parking setup, etc.. None of this information qualifies as personal information, except for the email address to send the scope statement to. This way the user can get an email with a .pdf file of their filled in scope statement. The email address is recorded for the simple purpose of making it easier to count how many unique users actually use our design tool.
What happens with this information?
We use various data points to aid in (technical) maintenance and improvement of the website. Some data is also collected through cookies to learn more about our customers. This information is anonymized; the cookies on our websites have been set up to not collect any information that can be traced back to you.
How safe is the website?
For every domain we own, we have enabled a secured connection to our website. Online traffic between you and our website is therefore illegible for outside parties. Aside from that, we make sure that our systems are properly protected. We encourage everyone to report any potential security issues to us immediately, so that we can take measures to improve our online security.
At all times, you have the right to have your information removed from our records (e.g. contact information). Simply contact us and we will gladly help you.
We cannot remove anonymized information, simply because it is impossible to trace what information belongs to you.
Cookies we use
The cookies from Google help us to gain insight in how visitors use the website. The information acquired through these cookies is anonymized as much as possible. This ensures that a specific set of information cannot be traced back to a specific individual.
Facebook's cookies gather roughly the same information as Google's cookies, with similar purposes. Aside from that, these cookies are used to build an 'audience' on Facebook and help us show more relevant ads.
Other supporting cookies
The website https://www.paneelwanden.com has the option to log in so users can easily and repeatedly request a quote for a mobile wall with the same account (this is especially useful for some of the contractors we work with on a regular basis). Cookies are helpful in this case, because they enable login information to be saved between sessions.
Analysis of the website
In order to analyze the website properly, we have to be able to count unique visitors. There are various ways in which this can be achieved that still safeguard the visitor's privacy. Our website analysis makes use of the following information:
- City and country (based on the IP-address)
- Operating system (Windows, iOS, Android, etc.)
- Browser type (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.)
- Visited pages (time and duration)
- Utilized links to and from our website (which links brought you to our website and which links did you use on the website itself)
- General information such as monitor display settings and inter speed (to ensure that the website is showed properly on either a desktop or phone and functions properly)
Our cookies has been set up in a way to either not collect IP-addresses, or to partially anonymize it so the IP-address cannot be traced back to a specific device.
If you prefer that we (or any other website) do not place any cookies on your device, then we recommend that you enable the "Do Not Track" function of your browser. You can also set up your browser's cookie settings on your own, so that you will know exactly what your browser does with cookies.
